I loved the idea that the “Rebel Angel” was a teenager and fell in love with the same girl every 17 Years. She was a different person in a different body going thru a different experience. But they came back together and fell in love all over again. I love how the story of true love, soulmates wrapped around historical ideals regarding the Fallen Angels. That the Rebel Angel caused a war in the heavens over the idea of “True Love”. That he put everything on the line for that belief. Knowing that once he kissed her, she would die. They wouldn’t see each other for another 17 years. But he did it all because he fell in love with her very soul and found her over and over again. To be with her in that moment and to share that love and to walk away from her every single time. I don’t know if it’s me being the hopeless romantic but what a statement to say the least. It’s an amazing book, amazing characters and an amazing story. I totally recommend reading the book ‘Fallen” then checking out the movie. Both are soooooo good and I truly am enjoying the series and can’t wait to dive into book two. To see what happens next to the characters and their love story.
