As a child we watched “The Never ending Story”. We got the message but didn’t really get the message. Regarding the “Noting”. What it meant as an adult when you watch it. It hits you hard what that truly means. Thru your life you go thru the moments of the “Noting”. From depression, anxiety. stress. fear and or losing someone you love from humans to pets. The message of the “Noting” becomes more then just wow what an intense message in a movie to what does it mean as an adult. I was talking to my older sister tonight about the Never ending story and how I feel about the “Noting”. I go thru moments where I fall into a deep depression and can’t get myself out of it. I feel like the “Noting” has taken over and I can’t find my way out of the pit around me. We as adults deal with the “Noting” every single day. But as a child that means nothing to us. We live in a bubble of safety, a dream land that we create for ourselves. From playing with toys or reading a book or hanging out with a bestie and doing something fun. We hit are teens we don’t think anything can touch us. We’re invisible and noting matters but what we’re doing right in that moment in life. Then you hit an “Adult” that word is scary because it means working full time, paying rent, and making sure you stay alive and whatever else you’re caring for. Children, family, animals but you lose that magic along the way and the “Noting” takes over… It’s interesting a movie like the “Never ending story” had such a huge message. But as kids we miss but as adults it literally speaks to us in volumes because in a sense, we became the “Noting”.
