If you loved Fourth Wing, you’re going to love Dire Bound, Instead of Dragons you have Dire Wolves.

I honestly couldn’t put this book down; I loved every single moment. You wanted and needed to find out what happened next. We meet Meryn in the low “Income” part of her world. She is dealing with a lot and I mean a lot. From her mom’s mental illness, fighting just to survive, taking care of her little sister. After a string of bad luck moments from her mom getting worse to her sister being kidnapped by Nabbers. She decides to join the army and go to the front to find her little sister. That means bonding with a Dire Wolf which Meryn doesn’t want. But if she plans to survive her and Anassa (Her Dire Wolf) are going to have to work out their issues to become a bonded pair. If they don’t both of them will die. It’s survival of the fittest and the ending is going to surprise you. There are some amazing characters along the way from Lee (The Prince) who is her love interest. Igor the man that teachers her to street fight and to survive and helps her become the person she is meant to be. Her “Clan or her Pack” not sure what way to put it the twins Isabel and Venna and we can’t forget about Killian. Oh, I forgot to mention that it was romantic and the scenes of them getting down. Was really sweet and honestly just a treat. Something about this book is it’s really based around the story. But there is also really amazing romance moments between Lee and Meryn. This book was left on a cliff hanger and man I need to read book 2 and find out what happens next.
