From the first few chapters this book had me on a choke hold. The scene on the cliff was something else. You can’t help fall in love with these characters. Each chapter is a ride with both of them and makes you at times ya want to scream at how stupid she is acting and how cruel he is being. But at the end of the day, they’re the perfect couple. She brings out the best in him when no one thinks he can be anything else but a “Killer”. He brings out her strength he pushes her to not be afraid of what she doesn’t know. She gets pushed to her comfort zone and beyond with him. You don’t just see her blossom into the woman that she was meant to be but also the artist. She pushes his buttons to make him be something that you don’t think is going to happen. But it does she brings out his human side. To feel something that no one thought he could ever feel “Love”. I loved these characters I loved how they fought, I loved how they loved. I love the banter between them. I honestly couldn’t put this book down. I also really loved the relationship between the families. From Killers brothers and cousins. To her brothers Lan and Bran. How protective each side was and is with them. I loved how you felt it and read it in each page. One of my favorite scenes is with Killers car with Lan. Big brother protection awesome!!! I also loved when the parents talked about their relationship. How much they loved each other. Oh, and don’t get me started on the Fireflies 🙂 if you know you know. This book was perfect, and I can’t wait to start reading book 2 of the series.
