Wow, the Trailer is amazing so much to say on such an amazing trailer. First the kids are so cute and they’re going to be amazing as the Trio. I think that they will take the torch or Wizarding Cup and run with it. I’m looking forward to seeing the kids grow up with the series and their version of Harry Potter. They have big shoes to fill but I think they will do it and maybe even make it better than the movies, we shall see.
Ok, so here is a few things a lot of people online have been talking about. How people didn’t ask for a Harry Potter series. But uh that is not true we did ask for a series. That was true to the books and looks like we might actually have it. I can’t wait to see Peeves!!! I need to see him in the new series. He should have been added in the original movies. But he wasn’t and that was soul crushing. Then let’s talk about Snape I think it’s awesome that he is a Black Man!! I think it fits Snape and I can’t wait to see him grow with the character. I love the change and I think it’s a great choice. I love the outfit that the photos are showing of him. The zippers are a choice, but I like it, I love his dreads like seriously they just nailed it with Snape. Dumbledore had an interesting hat in the trailer; I would have loved to see a more dapper Dumbledore like he was in the Fantastic Beasts. I feel like that would be cool to see. Him being the Dapper well-dressed professor But I think John L is an amazing actor and I’m looking forward to seeing him as Dumbledore. Dumbledore is one of those characters. That has been played by a couple of actors over time and it’s going to be interesting to see a new Dumbledore step into his robes. Hagrid!!! Omg Nick Frost HOLY wow omg, he is perfect as Hagrid and he made me cry, I watched it over and over again. I cried every single time. I can’t wait I literally can’t wait. Hagrid is one of those characters that is the great uncle that wants to love and care about you and teach you. To be a good human being and loves you, even when you’re not doing the right thing. You, see the love he has for Harry and for the kids and that is soo amazing!!! So yes, Nick Frost I can’t wait to see you grow into Hagrid. There were several characters we didn’t really get to see. Like Minerva McGonagall, she was just a flash, but she looked very cool looking. Then we had Ollivander’s and he looked sooo cool!!! I’m looking forward to seeing Knockturn alley and Ollivander’s shop, also seeing Hedwig which is majorly important that she looks like the Snowy Owl that she is. Also, the Herbologist and Madame Hooche so many more to mention but that is just a start.
Here are a few things that I’m worried about..
The costumes, I really need to see more to judge about the costumes, but I really need them to be on point. Especially the Robes of the students from the houses. Like they need to be on point. I will be really pissed if they’re not. Since every single Harry Potter fan has their own set of Robes. From the houses that they were sorted into. Then the other thing is we didn’t see Hogwarts at ALL. That is concerning for me, so I really need to see Hogwarts thru the vision of the TV show. So, I will be keeping an eye out for the next trailer. Hoping we get to see the school. Also, Hogsmeade so ya that is a few concerns for me, we shall see but ya that is something that is on my mind.
But, other than that. The trailer had me in the feels. Like I can’t tell you how many times I cried. Watching it over and over again. Watching people on Youtube talking about it. Also having Threads chatting about it, so I got very wrapped up in the Harry Potter event of the Year.
HBO Max – Will be releasing the first episode, December 2026. I will be getting HBO Max just to watch Harry Potter!! The series is supposed to run for 10 Yrs. So, we have a long, long, long time to experience. The new kids and the series. What an amazing thing to watch on Christmas 🙂 so thank you HBO Max that is awesome.
