So as everyone knows by now, or maybe you don’t since you don’t really know me. I went to school for Literature my main study and focus was Shakespeare. So I’m a picky brat when it comes to retellings from books, movies, poetry, sonnets. I can be really bitchy about it and I will say how I feel about it. Without an edit button.

But I want to give a shout out to Emily Mcintire I thought this story was really cute and romantic. Roman and Juliette, first love, small town drama, two families that hate each other. The angst, the forbidden love, the wanting and needing of each other. But also, the background story of Roman’s family history and Juliette wrapped around their love story 🙂 was really honestly perfect. It was cool to see Romeo and Juliet get there happy ending. You will have to read the book, to understand what I mean by that.

While I was reading Burning Daylight. I had the 2013 Romeo and Juliet movie playing in the background. It was cool to see so many famous lines from the Shakespeare. I think it was a really respectful way Emily showed love for my man the Bard aka Shakespeare. I have loved every book she has written, and I can’t wait to read book 2 from her newest series. (Defying The Stars)
