A Touch of Darkness by: Scarlett St. Clair.

I love a good Greek Mythology story; this was cute it’s perfect for a young reader. Someone that loves a good romance. But also loves Mythology and the story of Persephone and Hades. I loved how the writer described her characters. Loved the place that they lived in. I adored their relationship and first love and all that. Especially for her and learning how the human body works. I loved how the “Underworld” is described in the book. The writer made it non scary; made it were you’re not afraid to think about the afterlife and what happens next you. If you’re granted favor by the Gods. I could totally relate on the mom and daughter relationship. I hate to say it but I was proud of her. For getting away from her mother’s control and figuring out who she is without that situation in her life. The Gala was probably one of my favorite scenes. Especially the way the Gods are described by the writer. I could see myself looking down from the 2nd story and watching them walking in. I could imagine how beautiful it was and the scents, the noise, the gatherings. It honestly sounded like so much fun. I really enjoyed this young reader book. It was adorable and it was well written by the writer. The story is beautiful and honestly you can tell. She put all her love into it. I’m not sure if I will continue with the series at the moment. But I will in the future read book 2 from the collection. I totally recommend this book, if you love history, mythology and a bit of romance mixed in it.
