I’m really enjoying the series the writer doesn’t say it’s a Romeo and Juliet – Retelling with BDSM. This book annoyed me to no end especially the very last few chapters of the book. It made me scream, made me cry and made me really angry. When that happens, it means it’s a great book and I’ve enjoyed every single moment. It gives you all the feels and you just don’t know what to do with yourself until you finish the book. I thought that Killian pissed me off. But man, Creighton dude just angered me beyond worlds. I was like what are you doing? You love her, you hate her? you want to take your revenge out on her. Because of your past? That made me sick to my stomach. Because under all that hate he was and is completely in love with her. Annika is such an interesting character Mafia Princess who ends up surprising you. For her actions to protect her brother which I totally admired and loved about her. I LOVE her connection with her brother and her family. I love these books that you get a peek into the families that they come from. The relationship and love that their parents share and their siblings. I LOVED her father and Mothers relationship!!! Seriously that was sooo beyond romantic and sweet. Her dad is such a powerful mafia boss. But when it comes to his family, he is a big teddy bear, and you really feel that. I love how he did everything he could to protect his daughter from the darkness that was all around her. He wanted to keep her his little girl safe and sound. Even if it means locking her away in the tower to keep her from getting hurt by the person that she loves with all her heart.
If you liked Romeo and Juliet, but add Mafia, Sex, Ropes and danger. Then you’re going to love this book. The Legacy of Gods book series so far is sooo amazing and I’m really enjoying it. I can’t wait to start book 3 🙂
