I honestly kept hoping that the book would get better, but it honestly didn’t. I felt like Wendy just complained and blamed Peter for everything that happened to her. It wasn’t his fault that her life fell apart because she couldn’t let go of Neverland. I had such a hard time reading this book and kept having to go back and reread what the writer wrote and honestly it just wasn’t my cup of tea. I also found the writing to be terrible and hard to follow, and I kept having to go back and forth and reread what I read it was just terrible. It’s great for young readers that enjoy retelling of Disney characters like Peter Pan and Wendy Darling. It should be added to the Disney shuffle of books for the cosplay or Disney fan. But for me it’s a book I will most likely give to my Disney addict friend or go into the donate book pile. Because it is not a book that I will reread in the future.
