I’m not a huge graphic novel person but I’m glad I checked out the first volume.
I really enjoyed this graphic novel, It was an easy read. Most graphic novels well for me anyway are not easy reads. So, I really appreciated that.
Being introduced in Modern times the Greek G-ds the children of Zeus. The start of the love affair between Hades and Persephone.
This is not a book that children should read it has some very heavy topics that should be read only by adults. (Just putting a warning on this) But I truly enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next in Volume 2.
I love how Rachel makes Hades be the good guy, since most books and movies make him be the creep. Taking her to the underworld without her permission and keeping her as a “Toy”.
The artwork is DIVINE!!! The character art is just so beautiful, and it really is eye candy.
