What an amazing story. Kerry Washingtons performance was amazing. I truly enjoyed seeing her play another strong woman lead. She took that character and ran with it. She deserves to win an award for her performance hands down.
I didn’t know anything about this all-Black African American WAC unit that served in War War 2. I’m so happy to have learned about this Unit and what they did. The story was breath taking seeing it thru Kerry Washingtons eyes and the character actors she played with. From scene one to the very end was just as I said before breath taking but I love story telling like this. You’re being told the story by the characters and what they saw. From letters they sent to their loved ones, to personal biographies. You get to experience what they went thru in their own words.. I can’t say it enough I totally recommend this movie and learning about this WAC unit and what they did during War War 2. These amazing bold strong women and what they did to serve their fellow man.
